Being Curious
BEING CURIOUS
Do you know what is the important trait of a genius? Do you know how to live a rewarding life? Do you know how to keep the mind active?
If No.
Then the answer is in being curious.The more curious you are, the more possibilities you will open throughout your lifetime.
But why is curiosity so important?
The answer is that being curious serves as a vehicle for establishing personal goals. It makes you to clarify yourself, to uncover the Truth,to experience something fresh, to become more efficient,to experience a spice of variety,to be more positive, to make your mind observant of new ideas and nevertheless to Increase productivity in yourself.
The important question that might have struck you right now,maybe,how to be curious?
Remember that the best friends of a curious person are what, why, when, who, where, and how.
I don’t think you can find an intellectual giant who is not a curious person. The ones who have contributed immensely to the world or the ones we often read about were all curious person-Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, Richard Feynman,Leonardo da Vinci, Walt Disney they were all curious characters.
George Bernard Shaw says:
"It is a curious sensation: the sort of pain that goes mercifully beyond our powers of feeling. When your heart is broken, your boats are burned: nothing matters any more. It is the end of happiness and the beginning of peace."
Be curious like children. They are like an empty canvas, waiting to be filled with knowledge and experiences. They don’t have predetermined expectations fogging their judgment. Children absorb the world around with an open mind driven by sheer curiosity. Curiosity can help open your mind too. To be curious, rekindle that childlike curiosity because the mindset of curiosity is crucial for success.
So look at life through the glasses of fun and excitement and enjoy the learning process.
